![]() Millions in potential revenue and absolutely worth putting some time into.Įdit: To add to those numbers above, that means there are over 10,608,000 Diablo Immortal players who use the PC version in some capacity.Even so, at its core, the team have set out to create an “authentic Diablo experience,” says Jeff Grubb, adapted for mobile and with an MMO backbone. (But if you don't like hypotheticals, just stick to the previous 3.216).Īny intelligent businessman would see the opportunity there. ![]() Even with diminishing returns since July, it is likely that the PC playerbase would be around 4 million+. That is a massive amount of players, larger than the playerbase of many games. ![]() Blizzard themselves claimed "over 30 million downloads" in July (we can safely assume many millions more today, but lets just stick with 30 million flat for the math).ġ0.72% of 30,000,000 users would be 3,216,000 users. (While 24.64% stated they play on both PC and mobile, meaning over 35% of the playerbase uses the PC version at least part-time). 10.72% of them responded that they play "on PC only". The total responses to this poll is 625 users. It doesn't have to be 50% to be sizable and financially viable. It seems bizarre that you are so triggered by people wanting to play a game on the platform of their choice.Īlso, this poll is a small subset of users so im sure there is margin for error, but even if we take the exact numbers of the poll (or even cut them in half), thats still a LOT of users. You just seem super aggressively anti-PC for no reason and its really bizarre, especially considering nobody started an anti-mobile rant or anything. They clearly saw that there were many PC players who also wanted to play. Yea, companies don't waste development time and resources to appease a handful of players that aren't financially viable.
